- This special edition reproduces carefully selected Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) from the Taylor Toyo collection with attention to detail and is finished to be comparable to vintage items. This Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) features two dragons facing each other, the appropriate design for the Year of the Dragon (2024, Japanese zodiac). The dragons, drawn on black acetate with gentle and delicate colored threads, give a sense of divinity and dignity. The original design was created by a skilled Japanese embroidery craftsman of the time, and it is as if we are looking at a Japanese painting.
The reversible side features a hand-printed Japan map on a blue base reminiscent of the sea. Hand-printed souvenir jackets are as valuable as skull patterns in the vintage market and are sold at unbelievable prices. In addition, this work drawn with its large dragon, castle, and landscape together, is an ultra-rare, high-end gem among printed Japan map patterns".
