- These jeans are a reworking of STUDIO D'ARTISAN's first model "DO-1" released in 1979. This model is a version of the "SD-DO1" produced for the overseas market, and the leather patches are designed with the motif of Mt. Fuji. STUDIO D'ARTISAN researched its original denim and reproduced 6-count yarn with the same number of twists and unevenness as the original while engaging from the spinning stage. The denim is woven with Awa Tokushima Hank-dyeing Natural Indigo yarn. Dyeing and drying has been done 20 times. By taking time and care, it has been dyed in dark indigo. The silhouette is a loose, wide fit, similar to that of French work trousers.
