- 第5空軍はアメリカ空軍における航空軍の1つで、主に極東アジアにおける空軍部隊の管理を行っている。朝鮮戦争時には主力部隊と司令部を朝鮮半島に移動させ戦闘を行った。このジャケットの背面パッチにある第5空軍戦闘作戦指揮所(5th Air Force Combat Operations Center)は朝鮮戦争の緊急時に備え、1950年代に名古屋に所在していた作戦指揮センターである。背面に縫い付けられた大型のパッチの内容は、10本もの手足と多数のヘッドフォンが激しい任務を表したユーモアに溢れるもので、これは当時、兵士が日本で特別にオーダーして製作したものである。

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket based on the specs at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully.
