- This Type B-10 with patch and paint is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's", based on vintage flight jackets of the "Rough Wear Clothing Co.". The 587th Bombardment Squadron, under the 9th Air Force, began its operations in May 1943 at MacDill Field, Florida. In February 1944, they deployed to the European theater and participated in the Normandy Invasion. Their primary mission was to destroy enemy combat infrastructure, including bridges, artillery emplacements, and airfields, effectively crippling the enemy's fighting capabilities. They were known by the nickname "Bridge Busters". This patch, created by a talented artist among the soldiers at the time, is a rare and highly sought-after piece. The depiction of a skull wearing a cap and holding a cigarette in its mouth expresses the Yankee spirit.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as zipper are revived, based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
