• This jacket is a reproduction based on the CWU-9/P liner jacket. The CWU-9/P, a quilted type with padding, is a rare liner jacket, which was adopted in the early 1960s as a liner for the CWU-7/P. Although intended to be used as a liner, it can also be worn on its own due to the dual construction of the zipper and snap buttons on the front. Originally, there was only a chest pocket, but a patch pocket was added later for more functionality. This jacket is the lightest of those classified as flight jackets and has a wide range of uses as both inner and outerwear, as it also offers a moderate degree of warmth.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as the zipper are revived based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
