奄美大島泥染(Amami-Dorozome) GL3 JEANS
- 半世紀前に作られた 豊田自動織機による 力織機-GL3を使い、奄美大島に古くから伝わる奄美泥染で染め上げたジーンズ。生地は15ozのセルヴィッジデニム。GL3の特性を最大限に引き出すため、糸の凹凸形状や番手、縦横の打ち込み本数に至るまで、ダルチザン独自のレシピで設計。現代の効率的かつ 均一な量産デニムでは表現できない、 独特のムラ感や粗野な風合いが魅力です。奄美大島に自生するテーチ木(車輪梅)の染料と、150万年以上前の地層に由来する鉄分豊富な泥を用いた奄美泥染めは、人工染料では決して再現できない奥行きと温もりのある色合いシルエットはブランド定番のレギュラーストレートを採用。程よい深さの股上に、太すぎず細すぎない腿周りを組み合わせた、バランスの良いスタンダードフィットに仕上げています。
