6.2oz. INDIGO PLAID WORK SHIRT
- By sampling old indigo-dyed fabric for a kimono with a fabric width of only 33 cm, "Sugar Cane" adjusted the width of the fabric approximately 3 times and produced it on a shuttle loom, while maintaining the yarn texture and pattern. The style is based on American work shirts with double flap pockets from the 1940s and 1950s. Selvedge is used for the back of the front placket and the fabric for reinforcement on the side edges. The back yoke, the union ticket sewn on the back of the hem, and the threads at the side hems are distinctive, and cat-eye-shaped black shell buttons are used on the front. An “INDIGO” paper tag is attached to the collar.
