- "NHATRANG" was a city where the U.S. military port was located during the Vietnam War. Tailor Toyo has reproduced a Vietnam jacket custom-ordered by a soldier who was stationed in that fierce battleground from 1966 to 1967. The jacket has the classic Vietnam jacket design featuring a tiger head with green eyes and the Kanji word "Fuku (means Fortune)" on the chest, yellow dragons on the sleeves, and a Vietnam map on the back. In addition, this aged model reproduces fabric and embroidery threads that have faded in color over time. The rayon-blend cotton twill has been treated to give it a supple fabric feel and drape, allowing the wearer to enjoy a vintage-like texture from the time the jacket is new.
