"BLACK EAGLE × JAPAN MAP"
- This Sukajan(Souvenir jacket) is made of a mint green velveteen fabric, which is very rare among vintage Sukajans. Based on a vintage jacket from the mid-1950s, Tailor Toyo has reproduced this Sukajan, featuring an eagle spreading its wings to take flight from the waves. Except for the body, everything from the colored threads of the embroidery to the ribs and the rope piping on the sleeves is in monotone black and off-white, giving this Sukajan a sophisticated impression.
In contrast, the reversible side has a Japan map pattern with colorful embroidery that stands out on the green body. The Japan map shows many place names in the Tohoku region, which suggests that the original jackets of this Sukajan were sold at PXs in U.S. military bases such as Misawa and Hachinohe, as well as at souvenir stores around the bases at the time. - Main: 100％ Cotton
