C-2 TYPE HEAVY COTTON JERSEY
- "Buzz Rickson's" has reproduced the type C-2 for aviators adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps in the early 1940s. It has a tight silhouette because it is intended to be worn as an inner layer with the A-2 flight jacket to protect against the cold. Although originally made of wool knit, it is knitted with 16-count two-ply yarn of cotton in high density to provide excellent cold protection, and because it is made of cotton, it is washable and easy to care for.
