- The moment the Wright Brothers left the earth under the power of their engines in 1903 marked the beginning of human flight. Photographic documentation of the time shows a classic appearance of sweaters and vests under leather coats and headwear such as cassettes and applejack caps, all designed to keep out the cold. This applejack cap, made by "Buzz Rickson's" in the image of the time, is made of corduroy. This graceful item goes well with classic outfits.
