- Men's File, a British culture magazine that has gained tremendous support from vintage enthusiasts around the world. Nick Clements, the founder of Men's File, is a photographer who is active mainly in Europe and the United States. He graduated from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London and has worked as a photographer for fashion magazines such as VOGUE. He has also authored books on historical culture, including "SIMULCRA" and "The Best of Men's File". In addition, he is a collector who has been gathering vintage items for over 45 years, and he offers various genres of people and things, such as denim, workwear, hot rods, classic cars, custom bikes, and surfing, along with vintage pieces, using classic fashion as his theme. His work, which transcends the boundaries between art and fashion, has influenced many genres.
In this work, the design is composed of carefully selected portraits from a series of photographs featuring model Casey Drabble, who is active primarily in Europe. The base design is the so-called "postcard pattern," which has existed since the early days of the history of aloha shirts. Based on a vintage design that incorporates several postcards depicting scenes from Hawaii onto a shirt, this Aloha shirt has been modernized using Nick's artwork. - Artist: NICK CLEMENTS
