- Denim fabric is perfected through the combined efforts of cotton quality, the spinning machines that create the yarn, the power looms that weave it, and the skill of the craftsmen operating them. Previously, Oni Denim featured a fabric called "KIHANNEN," but it is now impossible to produce. However, ONI DENIM has created a new fabric surpassing that of the "KIHANNEN". This fabric is woven at low tension using extremely slub yarns with uneven thickness. The way the weft yarns appear to float up in a dotted pattern is reminiscent of traditional Japanese Kasuri fabrics. It was named "Oni Kasuri" for its appearance. The wavy texture and uneven surface are the true essence of Oni Denim. You can recognize it as Oni Denim at a glance. The silhouette is a wide, straight cut, featuring a high rise reminiscent of work pants and a generous, relaxed design.
