- From the RRV Series, REMI RELIEF’s new line of vintage-inspired jackets, comes a faithful reproduction of the 1954 2nd Type jacket. Every detail of the original has been carefully reproduced, with particular attention paid to the fit, fabric, and construction. Rather than adding a modern interpretation, this jacket allows you to enjoy the original appeal of the vintage design as it was.
The sizing is based on vintage models from 1954, with the body length and sleeve length kept consistent across all sizes. Only the chest width and shoulder width change from one size to the next, faithfully recreating the distinctive proportions of the originals. The result is an authentic fit that captures the feel of the period.
For the fabric, REMI RELIEF developed an original denim from the ground up, faithfully reproducing the color and character of the fading found in vintage denim of the era. 100% cotton thread is used for the stitching, allowing the denim to develop greater depth and character as it ages. With continued wear, the jacket develops a unique appearance of its own.
Iron buttons are used. As they naturally develop rust over time, they take on an increasingly vintage character. A special jacket that brings together the craftsmanship of a bygone era and the enduring appeal of vintage. - Material: Zimbabwe Cotton 13oz. Denim (100％ Cotton)
