• This is a reproduction of a Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) that was produced by Ko-Sho (the predecessor of Taylor Toyo) in the late 1950s at the request of the U.S. military and sold at the PX (base store) at the Alaska base. In the vintage market, this kind of "Alaska souvenir jacket" is very rare, especially the pattern of "Lightning bolt and polar bear" is very popular. The three lines on the sleeves and other specifications found on the vintage Alaska souvenir jacket made of acetate fabric were faithfully reproduced.
  The reversible side is also embroidered with a moose, which is very rare in vintage jackets. The pattern drawn by a Japanese craftsman in the 1950s based only on photographs has been reproduced. The fur of the moose and the intricately shaped antlers are precisely expressed by the gradation of brownish threads and the shading of the embroidery, which shows the advanced techniques of the time. Both sides of this luxurious Sukajan have been reproduced with rare patterns, and the popular aging process has been applied to the jacket.

3. Please avoid hand washing or using a washing machine or dryer as it may cause significant deterioration of the product such as shape loss, discoloration, fraying, and seam breakage. Please consult a dry cleaner specialty store for laundry.
