"5th BOMB.GROUP BOMBER BARONS"
- 1918年に創隊した第5爆撃大隊"ボンバーバロンズ"は米空軍史上最も古い歴史を持つ爆撃隊である。第二次大戦以前はハワイに配備され、訓練と陸海軍の機動に参加するなどの活動に従事した。1935年マウナロア火山の噴火の際、火山の周りに爆撃を投下することで溶岩を街からそらし、ハワイのヒロ市の市民を救った。第31爆撃飛行隊は、爆撃機B-17とB-24で40ものミッションを誇っている。背面に描かれたペイントの"Lady Luck"とは、幸運を呼び寄せる意味の"Ready Luck"と"Rady"をかけた、遊び心のあるセンスが洒落ている。ジャケットは陸軍のフィールドジャケットではあるが、戦時下では規定が緩和され、まれに航空隊員に着用されることもあった。
