"DRAGON HEAD x ROARING TIGER"

• This Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) is reproduced based on the vintage Sukajan. The main side depicts only the head of a dragon in detail, commonly known as a "dragon head" pattern. It is based on a work from the early 1950s that was newly discovered in recent years, and this is the first time it has been reproduced by "Taylor Toyo". The pale green dragon face and vermilion-tinged flames are the colors of embroidery threads unique to Japan at that time. The body and the lower cuffs are all navy blue, and using the one-color white rope piping (usually twisted with two colors), "Tailor Toyo" reproduces the vintage in the smallest detail.
  The reversible side features a pattern of a tiger roaring fiercely in a bamboo grove. "Bamboo and tiger" have been considered a good combination since ancient times and have often been used as a motif for Sukajan, but the composition of crossed bamboo, as shown in this work, is unparalleled. The red bamboo leaves on the black body are impressive, but a closer look at the tiger's embroidery reveals that the outlines of its paws and black stripes are also partially embroidered with red thread, emphasizing the tiger's power.

   Tailor Toyo uses high-grade acetate to give it a vintage feel.

3. Please avoid hand washing or using a washing machine or dryer as it may cause significant deterioration of the product such as shape loss, discoloration, fraying, and seam breakage. Please consult a dry cleaner specialty store for laundry.
