- This "Type Tankers Slash Pocket with patches and paint" is reproduced by"Buzz Rickson's", based on vintage jackets. The 78th Fighter-Bomber Squadron was established as a fighter squadron in 1918 and is a historic unit that has continued operations for over a century to the present day. After World War II, based at Wheeler Field in Hawaii, it operated fighter aircraft, including the P-39, P-40, P-47, and P-51. The design and nickname "Bushmasters" used on this unit's insignia refer to a large venomous snake native to the South American continent. The colors used on this unit insignia are outstanding, featuring a vibrant color scheme based on the four colors used in the Air Force mark. The felt patch on the chest is a reproduction of the valuable locally made patch, and the mouth, fangs, and sharp eyes are embroidered with chain stitching, a detailed specification rarely seen on other patches. The unit's nickname is hand-painted on the back.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as the zipper are revived based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care.
