- Momotaro Jeans' iconic series, the “SHUTSUJIN” label. This series is printed with the trademark of the two lines on the banner that Momotaro carried when he went into battle to exterminate ogres. It is made of 15.7oz. denim slowly woven on an old-style power loom with extra dark indigo blue Zimbabwe cotton/6-count yarn that has been repeatedly rope-dyed while maintaining the whiteness of the yarn core so that denim fades in a contrast of shades. It has both the soft comfort typical of long-staple cotton and a rugged look. The silhouette is slim and straight. It is straight with less taper that feels vintage-like, but it has a beautiful silhouette with reduced thickness.
