- Champion introduced a white-body football T-shirt in 1964, followed by a colored body in 1967. This time, Champion has reproduced this 1/4-sleeve football T-shirt. The distinctive feature is the three stripes on both sleeves, known as the "NORTH WESTERN STRIPE," where only the central line is thick. The collar label, commonly known as the "bar tag," which featured the Champion logo within the blue bar adopted in the 1970s, has also been faithfully reproduced. The print design features the university name and graduation year number as sold at the university bookstore at the time. Officially licensed "YALE" and "UCLA" prints. The omission of the C logo patch on the left sleeve also faithfully reproduces the original specifications.
