15oz. Ishikawa-dai Stretch Denim
- This stretch denim is made using “Ishikawa-dai,” which is said to be the oldest spinning machine in Japan. Compared to the latest spinning machines, the Ishikawa-dai spins at 1/3 the speed. Although the production efficiency is low, the stress on the cotton is low, and it has a natural texture that is as if it were hand-spun. The same result is achieved with stretch denim. It has a firm roughness and texture that does not feel like stretch denim when you touch the surface. You will notice it is stretch denim when you put it on and feel the ease of movement. Indigo is a green cast color reminiscent of deadstock denim. The silhouette is a relaxed-tapered. While looking tight, it has enough room around the hips for a stress-free fit.
