- This 501XX 1937 MODEL is a reproduction of the 501® jeans of the Great Depression era in 1937. It has the cinch back as before, but the suspender buttons are removed. In addition, the red tab that symbolizes Levi's®, which differentiates Levi's® jeans from other brands on the market, had appeared for the first time.
