- The unique denim fabrics are completed when the cotton quality, the spinning machine to spin the yarn, the power loom to weave the yarn, and the craftsman's skill to manipulate them are all in place. "Oni Denim" used to have a fabric called "Kihan-nen," but it is no longer produced. However, "Oni Denim" has created a new fabric with the intention of surpassing the "Kihan-nen" fabric of that time. This new fabric is woven with unevenly thick ultra-slub yarns in low tension. The weft yarns appear floating in spots, reminiscent of Japanese kasuri fabrics. The name "Oni-Kasuri" comes from its appearance. The wavy texture of the fabric is the essence of "Oni Denim". You can recognize it as “Oni Denim” at a glance. The silhouette is a relaxed-tapered. The high rise, strong taper toward the hem, and sophisticated design highlight the ruggedness of the fabric.
