WATER REPELLENT CIVILIAN MODEL
- The M-65 parka was adopted as the successor to the M-51 parka. While the original M-65 parka uses a cotton and nylon Oxford fabric, this parka is a Buzz Rickson’s original, made with cotton ripstop fabric in the "ERDL" camouflage pattern used by special forces. "ERDL" stands for the "Engineer Research and Development Laboratory" of the U.S. military, from which the acronym is derived. The fabric is treated with a water-repellent finish, making the long-length parka also suitable for use as rainwear.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the string forcibly.
