- 1960年代中期に採用されたM-65は米軍がフィールドジャケットの開発に踏み切ってから約30年、研究と試行錯誤を積み重ねてきた知恵と工夫がふんだんに盛り込まれた究極のフィールドジャケットと言っても過言では無い。M-65はベトナム戦争で実戦投入され活躍の場を見ることになる。苦楽を共に潜り抜けてきたジャケットには所属する部隊のパッチや激戦の地であるベトナム地図を刺繍を施したりと、兵士たちは思い思いにカスタムした。中には絵心のある兵士がハンドペイントしたものもあり、簡素で控えめな軍服を一気に華やいだジャケットに様変わりさせた。このジャケットの背面には陸軍兵が戦車で疾駆する様子が大迫力で描かれている。アメリカでカスタムカー・カルチャーを築いた巨匠でありアーティストでもあるエド・ロスのアートはベトナム戦争の頃、アメリカ本土で大流行した。

In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the string forcibly.
