- This pair of "Pure Blue Japan" jeans with a best-selling slim tapered cut silhouette is made of its unique latest 16oz denim. The texture of this latest "double-slub" denim is attractive in its woven state, but the first contact with water further activates the slub, enhancing the fabric's intricate texture. As with most Pure Blue Japan jeans, the fabric is produced on low-tension shuttle looms, and the slub texture is common to Pure Blue Japan denim. Production of these jeans is very limited because of the fabric's limited production.
