BLANKET JACKET
- This blanket jacket is made of left-twill denim from "STUDIO D'ARTISAN". To protect against the cold, which is one of the weak points of denim jackets, a blanket is attached to the lining of this jacket to increase its heat-retaining power. The history of blanket jackets is old, and it is said to have started when a blanket was attached as a thermal protection measure in the days when denim jackets were still work clothes. This D'Artisan blanket jacket is an original, reworked version of that time's shape to make it easier to use and more comfortable to wear. The familiar orange yarn used for the standard jeans of "Studio D'Artisan" is used to create a contrast with the darkly dyed denim. By using original laurel buttons with a black plate finish, the buttons are less assertive in color and can be used for various outfits. In addition, as the jackets of the time were extremely short in length, they have been revised to a modern silhouette and set at a slightly longer length.
