Velveteen Souvenir Jacket
"LANDSCAPE X DRAGON"
- Tailor Toyo has faithfully reproduced this purple velveteen Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket), very rare among vintage. Based on a vintage Sukajan from the mid-1950s, it depicts beautiful Japanese scenes, such as a deer standing at the base of a pine tree and an oriental pagoda, using light and delicate colored threads. The embroidery of the rising dragon on the sleeve is longer than usual, tightening the overall balance. The reversible side features a dragon with a charming expression. The black body is finished with gold embroidery thread and off-white quilted stitching for a cool look.
