- STUDIO D'ARTISAN has created an original denim that expresses the scenery of the four seasons using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique of "Sakura(Cherry blossom) Dyeing". This denim item allows you to feel the elegance of nature by wearing the delicate colors produced by this ancient Japanese plant. "Sakura Dyeing" is a dyeing method that uses the bark and branches of cherry trees to dye yarn in cherry blossom color. To obtain the cherry blossom color, it is necessary to dye using the bark collected just before the cherry blossoms bloom. The gentle, pale, delicate cherry blossom coloring, which is not too assertive, evokes the elegance of nature. The warp yarns are dyed with natural indigo with "Kase Dyeing (Skein Dyeing)” first, and then Sakura-dyed. The weft yarns are also Sakura-dyed. The indigo color is slightly purplish by layering the Sakura Dye on top of the indigo. The fabric is 15.0 oz, and the overall silhouette is slightly relaxed.
