"WHITE EAGLE x GOLD DRAGON"

• This Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket) is reproduced based on the vintage Sukajan. For the main side, the body and the lower cuffs are all black, and it feature an eagle pattern drawn with white-based color threads on a black monochrome body. Based on a vintage pattern from the mid-1950s, the eagle spreads its wings and attempts to fly away from a pine tree, depicted in three-dimensional and dynamic embroidery making full use of the needle foot. Using yellow-colored thread for the eagle's beak and claws, as well as yellow lines for the cuff's rib, this sophisticated work is composed entirely of black, white, and yellow.
  The reversible side features a golden dragon embroidered with brightly colored threads against the background of Mt Fuji. At first glance, it looks like only one color of yellow is used, but, the yellow of the dragon and the yellow of the clouds are embroidered with different colors, and multiple colors of thread are used for the gradation of shades of yellow. This follows vintage specifications, and the letters "Tokyo Japan" at the top are also very rare. In addition to the dragon on the back, the eagle and tiger on the chest complete the three major motifs of the Sukajan, making this a luxurious piece.

3. Please avoid hand washing or using a washing machine or dryer as it may cause significant deterioration of the product such as shape loss, discoloration, fraying, and seam breakage. Please consult a dry cleaner specialty store for laundry.
