15.5oz SLUB-NEP DENIM LOOSE FIT BUTTON FLY
- The widest model in the omotodenim lineup. Inspired by tailored trousers, the pattern design is based on the structure of the human body. These jeans feature both comfortable wear and a refined silhouette. The denim is woven using long slub yarn with a strong uneven texture for the warp and nep yarn made from recycled cotton for the weft. Dyeing employs 100% pure indigo using traditional rope-dyeing techniques. While the yarn surface is dyed blue, the core remains white. This "core-white" contrast creates beautiful aging effects over time with wear. Weaving is done on the “Toyota Power Loom,” considered the progenitor of domestic denim looms. The warp is woven at extremely low tension to achieve a unique, rough texture.
