- This Type B-10 red rib version with patches and paints is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on the vintage jackets. The 23rd Fighter Group is especially popular among flight jacket enthusiasts. The left chest features the 23rd Fighter Group shield-shaped patch, the left shoulder bears the CBI theater, established in December 1941, which stands for China-Burma-India and was aimed at aiding China in its fight against Japan and preventing its collapse in the war. U.S. aid to China started even before entering the war, with the American Volunteer Group (AVG), famously called the "Flying Tigers". Upon U.S. entry, the 14th Air Force was formed, absorbing the AVG. The 23rd Fighter Group directly inherited the AVG's spirit. All the patches on the jacket are leather, hand-crafted by layering finely cut leather pieces. The custom jacket decorated with these highly skilled, handcrafted patches showcases the craftsmanship.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as zipper are revived, based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
