Mid 1960s Style Cotton Vietnam Jacket
"VIETNAM PANTHER"
- Tailor Toyo has reproduced this Vietnam jacket based on the vintage jacket, which was custom-ordered by U.S. soldiers stationed at the port of Cam Ranh, a city in southern Vietnam, in the mid-1960s. Embrodered on the back is a deformed panther face. Most of the existing vintage Vietnam jackets have a map pattern, and embroidered jackets like this one are rare. This jacket is reproduced based on a very rare vintage jacket, with a Vietnamese landscape on the right chest, three Kanji characters "福禄寿" (usually only "福"), on the left chest, and a one-size-larger dragon's embroidery than on other Vietnam jackets on the sleeves.
