Type B-15B TEST SAMPLE
"RAYON COTTON VERSION PERSONAL EQUIPMENT LABORATORY"
- This Type 15-B Test Sample is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on vintage jackets. The Aero Medical Laboratory frequently undertakes studies in order for pilots to carry out duties more functionally and efficiently. To identify any room for improvement, surveys were taken by selected pilots within a specific period, and feedback from the surveys was analyzed, and requests were integrated to create a prototype. A label “TEST SAMPLE” is sewn onto the prototype and given to pilots who’ve participated in the survey. Once again, they will wear the prototype, fill out a form, which is then returned to the Aero Medical Laboratory. The returned prototype is analyzed again, and specifications are decided. Development for samples always requires urgency, and in a state where specifications are not finalized, many differences are seen when comparing it with what was officially distributed, such as the detailing, pattern, and some with material changed completely.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as zipper are revived, based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
