A World War II-era denim jacket from STUDIO D’ARTISAN. It reproduces the practical, rugged design that emerged from the rationing of goods in the early 1940s.
- Made from 16.0 oz selvedge denim with a dull indigo blue hue reminiscent of oxidation and a rough texture
- Carefully reproduces the distortions caused by the rough stitching and uneven stitching of that era, based on vintage jackets
- It follows the simplified design, such as reducing the number of front buttons from five to four and omitting the flap on the chest pocket
- It features iron laurel buttons that develop a natural rust over time
- While the silhouette follows that of the 1st type, the two-piece construction—commonly known as the “T-back” style—seen in larger-sized jackets is adopted across all sizes
