"SUNLIGHT FLOWER"
- This Aloha shirt is a long-sleeved model specially ordered with patterns carefully selected by "HINOYA" and other stores among the short-sleeved Aloha shirts produced by "Sun Surf" in 2024. It is a long-sleeved Aloha shirt available only at a few stores.
"Sun Surf" has reproduced the Aloha shirt created by "NANI OF HAWAII", a brand launched by designer Betty Robertson in 1949. The brand initially specialized in swimwear and sportswear but soon entered the Aloha shirt market in the 1950s. The border pattern, which consists of abstract flowers, was inspired by the Pareo, a traditional Tahitian costume, and is a highly finished design that shows Betty's talent and depth of knowledge. - Original: NANI OF HAWAII (The work of the early 1950s)
