Pierre Fournier opened ANATOMICA in Paris, France, in 1994, intending to revive traditional European fashion, which had been lost or was in the process of being lost from the men’s fashion scene at the time.
The brand launched an "anatomical" collection focused on history, tradition, and a meticulously crafted fit.
Later, in 2006, a meeting with Kinji Teramoto brought a new direction to ANATOMICA. This led to the birth of American-style garments crafted with Japanese craftsmanship, filtered through the perspectives of both men.
The logo symbolizing ANATOMICA embodies Pierre’s vision: "to be an eternal wardrobe that illuminates people," like a crown that illuminates wooden shoes.
