"WHITE TIGER x GOLD DRAGON"
- The two-tone velveteen construction is so rare in the vintage market that it would be no exaggeration to call it ultra-rare. Like a satin Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket), the colors of the body and under-sleeves are divided, but the finished look is completely different, giving the jacket an unmistakable presence. TAILOR TOYO has reproduced a mid-1950s vintage design featuring a white tiger depicted from an unusual diagonal angle, a distinctive composition among vintage tiger motifs. Rather than filling in the tiger’s stripes entirely with embroidery, portions of the black velveteen are left exposed, emphasizing the outline of the tiger and creating a three-dimensional effect.
The reversible side features a gold dragon embroidered in an arched composition that covers the entire back. The unusually large block lettering of “JAPAN” is another distinctive detail. Mount Fuji is depicted below to create a sense of depth and express a grand sense of scale. - Main: 100％ Cotton
