"JAPAN MAP x GOLD DRAGON"
- The main side features a Japan map pattern with beautiful Japanese landscapes such as Mt. Fuji, a five-story pagoda, cherry blossoms, pine trees, and a torii gate. It is a reproduction of an early 1950s vintage pattern with gorgeous specifications, and it features a few plain areas, the entire back is covered with embroidery. The Japan map with a white base color and motifs with colorful colored threads stand out against the black body, and the green ribs and red-and-white rope piping accentuate this superb Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket).
The reversible side features a magnificent design of dancing gold dragons on a blue body reminiscent of sunny skies. In contrast to the main side, it features exquisitely balanced embroidery that uses the margins well. The dragon and tiger on the chest have the same pattern as on the front of the main side, but looking closely, the use of colored threads is different. This is because the same embroidery pattern was used for both sides of the vintage Sukajan, and it shows the attention to detail of the embroidery craftsmen of the time, who changed the colors to match the fabric color, even for the same pattern. - Main/Lining: 100％ Acetate
