- Made with original 13.5 oz. selvedge black denim featuring sharp vertical texture, achieved by using yarns with several different types of unevenness
- Black-on-black, with both warp and weft using black yarn
- “Eco-Bleach” finish—gentle on the body—that utilizes the reducing power of glucose without the use of chlorine or bleaching agents
- Realistic fading, recreated by hand by craftsmen to recreate the look of a pair worn heavily for a full year
- A classic silhouette with moderate room in the hips and thighs, gently tapering from below the knees
- Iron buttons and a patch made of vegetable-tanned leather
