WORLD WAR II WAIST OVERALLS

• This is the reproduction of the denim waist overalls that were created under control to alleviate the shortage of supplies during the wartime period of World War II. The rivets on the coin pockets and bartacks on the hip pockets that had been attached to earlier models were omitted. The letters "FOR THE DURATION" on the hip label means "during the war" and indicate that the specifications will be changed until the war is over due to supply regulations. In the 1940s, the U.S. government awarded the E pennant, meaning Excellent, to companies that worked on superior military equipment in recognition of their achievements. The label for this denim waist overall is created under the dream fictional story that "Buzz Rickson's" was a flight jacket contractor at the time of the War and was awarded the E pennant.
  In addition, with regard to the specifications of this waist overall, buttons are iron arabesque donut buttons, and rivets are omitted from the coin pockets due to supply regulations in wartime. Also, the patch, which shrinks when heated, must be handled carefully. It has a unique back yoke with a height difference between the left and right sides, olive-colored herringbone twill is used for pocket sleek, and selvedge can be seen inside the coin pocket. Over the hidden rivets, it is usually sewn with bar-tuck stitching, but in the World War II model, it is sewn with lockstitching. The denim used is "Buzz Rickson's" original 13.6 oz denim with a rough texture.
