- Sun Surf has reproduced the shirt based on vintage. Founded in 1947, George A. Shaheen was the only major Hawaiian Aloha shirt manufacturer to have its own printing factory and exclusive textile designer. This surfboard design was created before the company had its own printing factory, and it was a popular design that became the brand's signature pattern.
