- The brand has reproduced a high-density herringbone twill with a distinct twill weave, believed to have been made from the same raw fabric used for USMC uniforms during World War II. With meticulous attention to every detail—from the quality of the yarn to the twisting method—the brand has revived the robust texture of the original fabric for the modern era. The fabric is dyed with Threne dye to express the vintage-specific deep navy with a purplish hue, commonly known as “Nascon(Eggplant-colored navy).” With repeated wear and washing, the fabric develops the beautiful fading and worn-in character unique to Threne dyeing, evolving into a garment that is uniquely yours. Finished with a refined balance suitable for the everyday life of a mature adult, this shirt can also be worn as an outer layer.
