- This Type L-2A with orange ribs and squadron patches is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's", based on vintage. The 13th Fighter Interceptor Squadron was reorganized in 1953 at Selfridge AFB, Michigan, as a strike fighter squadron under the Air Defense Command. In 1959, the squadron moved to Glasgow AFB, where it was given the "Mcdonnell F-101B Voodoo", the most advanced interceptor aircraft of the time. The 13th FIS, operating the F-101 Voodoo, is also known as the squadron that provided the deceased President John F. Kennedy with critical information during the "Cuba Crisis" to avert the outbreak of war. The 13th FIS squadron patch is the same design as the squadron's patch from World War II and is a glamorous patch version that retains the atmosphere of the good old days. The back of the jacket is proudly stenciled with the unit number and the motto "None shall execute them" in the bright orange color of the squadron's colors.

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket, and parts such as zipper are revived, based on the specifications at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the leather string forcibly.
