1936 TYPE I JACKET
- Few garments symbolize the American workforce more than "Levi's 1936 Type I jackets". Crafted from durable selvedge denim, this regular-fit jacket was long considered the unofficial uniform of the American workforce. Notable features are two pleats on the front placket, one chest pocket, exposed copper rivets, and a copper cinch back for adjusting the fit. In addition, the Lot 506 leather patch with the "Two Horse" and "XX" design, which represents the quality of the denim, is also a feature of this jacket. Also, 1936 was the first year that a capital "E" red tab was attached to Levi's products.
