- This open-collar shirt is reproduced by "Sun Surf" based on vintage. In the late 1950s, when travel to islands other than Oahu was also popular. Lahaina Casuals was established as a beachwear manufacturer in Lahaina, Maui. At first, the company mainly manufactured men's shirts and swimsuits, but they also began to produce dresses for women, which were in high demand. They also opened a branch in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the designs they were developing were diverse. These included uniforms ordered by corporations and military-related designs.
