- These special jeans were custom-ordered by HINOYA to Sugar Cane to commemorate HINOYA 75th anniversary. 16.25 oz. sugarcane denim is woven with yarns blended with Okinawa sugar cane fibers and cotton, rope-dyed with a blend of Ryukyu indigo and indigo dyes. The heavy-ounce denim, made with thick uneven 7-count yarn for the warp and 4-count yarn for the weft, is highly durable, and unique color fades will be expected. The silhouette is based on Sugar Cane's popular standard denim SC41947. The silhouette with a slightly deep rise, slightly relaxed fit from hips to thighs, and little taper is reminiscent of the good old days. The sleek is hickory. The leather patch has Sugar Cane's original design for HINOYA. These luxurious special jeans are a mixture of Sugar Cane's unique fabrics and the silhouette of Sugar Cane's masterpieces.
