- 第二次大戦中に使用されたデッキジャケットは、米海軍の“Special Winter Clothing” に属するアイテムの一つである。素材は耐風・撥水性のある通称『ジャングルクロス』と呼ばれるコットン・グログランが使用されている。フロントはジッパーで開閉され、襟と袖、裾に取り付けられたウールリブニットは風の侵入を防ぐ仕様となっている。また、極寒の海上での作業を考慮し、ジャケットの他に同素材の胸あて付きのトラウザースと布製ヘルメット、ウール素材のフェイスマスク、レザー素材のグローブ、その他にゴーグル、シューズがセットで、その装備は完全であった。後期型のデッキジャケットはウールブランケットのライニングだが、初期型はアルパカ・ウールパイルのライニングで、ウインドフラップが設置されていることと大型のパッチポケットが特徴である。

This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the vintage jacket based on the specs at that time, so please handle the parts with care. In particular, the zipper may be damaged if it is forcibly raised or lowered. When pulling up the zipper, be sure to pull up the metal part of the zipper slowly and carefully. Please do not pull the string forcibly.
