"SCATTERED PALMTREE"
- This Aloha shirt is reproduced by "Sun Surf" based on vintage. The original was made by “National,” which had a chain of stores throughout the U.S. at the time and sold resort wear. With the dramatic increase in the number of tourists to Hawaii, the Aloha shirt attracted attention as a gift item. The boom spread to the U.S. mainland, further accelerating the popularity of Aloha shirts. Also, as Aloha shirts began to be worn for golf, the designs on the shirts began to change as well. Aloha shirts with a more subdued color scheme and smaller motifs with patterns that did not have too much impact began to be produced.
