- For Warehouse, the down vest, specially ordered from Rocky Mountain Featherbed, has been a regular fall item. The standard item of "Rocky Mountain Featherbed" is made of nylon taffeta, but this down vest uses the original indigo chambray fabric of "Warehouse". Also, water-repellent down from Europe is used. Normally, the weak point of down is that its heat-retaining ability decreases when it gets wet, but down itself is treated with a water-repellent finish to achieve specifications that allow it to maintain its heat-retaining ability even in bad weather. The down, with a perfect ratio of 90% down and 10% feathers, boasts a high heat-retaining capacity of 700 FP. As the brand name suggests, it provides thermal insulation and warmth like a featherbed. The front and back yokes are luxuriously constructed of a single piece of leather (horsehide) provided by the Warehouse. The overall wash process gives the leather as well as the color of the chambray the vintage look, creating a wild atmosphere. The lining is made of smooth nylon taffeta. The deep indigo outer fabric and the contrasting bright saxe blue lining are a perfect match.
